announces the hire of Todd Thompson as General Manager. Thompson is responsible for

overseeing all plant operations, team member training, maintenance needs, and operation

budgets.

Thompson comes with over 25 years in the ready-mix industry. Starting as a plant operator

where he ran both central mix and dry batch concrete, he strived for growth and was promoted

to plant maintenance. For the past nine years, he has served the role of operations manager

overseeing seven plants. Thompson has personally assembled 25 concrete plants over the

years. He was an active member of Ohio’s Concrete Futures association for three years.

Thompson considers himself a boots-on-the-ground manager and aims to bring a fresh take on

management to Port City Concrete. One of his immediate goals is to bring on ten new team

members as concrete mix truck drivers by the end of the month. Join Thompson at Port City
